AudioLens’ offline recording capability is designed for users who may not always have access to stable internet connectivity. Whether you’re in a remote location or experiencing network issues, you can confidently record meetings, brainstorming sessions, or interviews without interruptions.
Once you regain connectivity, your recordings can be uploaded for transcription and note generation.
Step-by-Step Guide to Recording Offline
1. Start Recording
Tap the Record Icon: Open the app and tap the "mic" icon in the navigation bar to start a new recording.
Visual Feedback: You’ll see a waveform animation and a real-time duration counter to indicate that recording is active.
No Internet Needed: The app automatically switches to offline mode if no internet connection is detected. No user intervention needed.
Offline Indicator: A banner at the top of the screen will notify you that the recording is happening offline.
2. End Recording
Tap End Recording: Once the session concludes, tap the "End Recording" button to finalize the audio file.
Local Storage Notification: A message will confirm that the recording has been saved locally and is ready for upload once an internet connection is available.
3. Manage Offline Recordings
Access Recent Recordings: Navigate to the "Recent Recordings" tab in the Home page to view your recent recordings.
Upload When Ready: An "Upload" button will appear next to offline recordings. Tap it once you’re connected to the internet to initiate transcription and note generation.
